We all participate in the raising of our dogs and greatly enjoy sharing our lives with them!
We have found Airedale Terrier's to be the best all-around dog for every stage of life; they have plenty of "get up and go" and can keep up when the need arises but they also have the ability to gear down and settle when it's time.
We currently own 3 Airedale Terriers:

Bringing Your Puppy Home
Puppy Pick-Up Day takes place at 8-weeks old. Each puppy will have a vet exam prior to being sent to their new home. He/she will come with current records, up-to-date on immunizations, heartworm treatment, and worming.
Refund Policy
Puppy reservation deposits are non-refundable, however, it IS transferable between coming litters. If we have not provided you with a puppy within 24 months, the deposit may be returned.
Once your deposit has been received, we will email you a reservation deposit confirmation email with your receipt, specification on litter due dates or available puppies, your place on the reservation list, and final balance due.
Transportation
We typically prefer new owners to come to our home to pick up their new puppy but in some cases, that just isn't possible. In these instances, we are happy to meet you anywhere within a 100 mile radius of our home for an additional $200 added to your balance due. Beyond that, we recommend Family Logistics Team (847-780-6318) as a trusted pet transportation service option. This will be an additional fee that will be determined at the time of drop-off and added onto your balance due.
Lunchtime in the woods
You don't have to talk very long about Airedale's without their coats coming up.
The general consensus is that there are 3 types of coats: A Sheep-coat, a Wire Coat, and a Soft Coat.
We do not keep sheep-coat Airedale's in our breeding program.
While temperament takes prescinedence, we find the sheep-coat Airedale coats to be prone to matting, they carry more smell, and they don't seem to take the heat or the cold as well.
Soft coats, well, they kind of speak for themselves. While they will make a perfectly good pet, we don't use them in our breeding program due to the dramatic changes in temperature up here in Wisconsin and the low tolerance they have for those changes.
The middle coat here, the Wire Coat, is more "typical" of a traditional Airedale coat and is what people prefer above all the other coats. This coat has a lot of potential, with proper grooming, to be a durable and easy to care for coat. It sheds water easier, they stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter and they have very little smell and shed so little, it's a nice change from some other breeds out there!

Not often talked about but it definitely needs to be spoken about more is the coat called a Slick Coat, a "redline," or what Henry Johnson referred to as "the 3rd quadrant."
Click here to be taken to a post with some of Henry Johnson's writing on the vitally important role that slick coats play in the Airedale breed.
As always, please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you have!
